Resolving Aussie Shepherd Car Chasing & Territorial Aggression | NYC Dog Training
Aussie Shepherd male had some previous training but needed something more due to his high energy and excitement towards distractions – like moving cars. The dog was very territorial of the home and would charge and take aggressive stances toward anyone who came onto the owner’s property, including cars driving up or away from the home. Trainer provided the following as part of the dog training program: 1. on and off-leash obedience / indoor and outdoor manners (Sit, Down, Place, Crate (go into crate), Come, Heel, Eye contact (look into owners eyes), and more) 2. attentional development toward handlers, even around severe distractions as cars moving
