The dog was killed around 9 pm Friday after officers responded to calls of a fight between teenagers in the Baldwin Run neighborhood of the city’s Rosedale section. But neighbors are also concerned by what they said is an excessive use of force after bullet holes were found sprayed around the neighborhood. @rachel1193 There are tons of sites to buy from, just make sure you chose overnight shipping or 2nd day air and buy an extra ice pack. I usually buy mine from Jefferspet, or dr. fosters and smith. If you buy the individual shots they come with a syringe, if you buy the 25pack of vaccines they do NOT come with syringes and you need the buy those separate.

@VikkiC08 vaccines that I order online are always good for a year in the frigerator. They have an expiration date right on every vial, its usually just over a year. I give mile all their first vaccine at 6 weeks, then again at 8 weeks. you can buy individual doses rather than the 25 packs. I usually hold onto mine, and then vaccinate my friends/familys dogs/puppies if they need any before they expire.
Okay, so ive looked up all the 5 ways and syringe prices, and I think I am prepared for the future…but I don’t think that buying the 5 way vaccines by 25 is going to work is it? I mean if theres 4 puppies and you give them the first shot at 6 weeks, then what do you do with the vaccines? Do I just put them in the fridge until they turn 8 weeks then give them another one? how long do the vaccines last in the bottle? I have herd not to buy them from the feed stores, bc of improper storing. help?

it doesnt matter what size syringe you use. I use the 3cc syringes, the vaccines are only 1cc. I also tend to buy the 22guage 3/4inch needled syringes.

To get rid of the air bubbles you hold the syringe with the needle facing directly up in the air, you tap the syringe a few times to get the bubbles to go to the top, then inject a little out into the air, just a tad, its ok if a small amount of fluid comes out too.

I do not know if local vets or feed supply stores sell vaccines, I would assume the vet would sell directly to you but would probably charge much more than buying online. NEVER re-use syringes. Always a brand new one for each dog. always throw away the needle, but You can clean syringes after with bleach water and then use them to give medications orally. I sometimes do that.

Could you buy the 5 way shots at a local pet/feed store and do you need 1 syringe for each puppy or could you reuse it?
Last question is, How do you get ride of the air bubbles?

@cisco1186 I just buy the 5 way puppy vaccines and start at 6 weeks of age.
@David363170 you can buy them from your vet, or online. I buy from Fosters and smith. I start at 6 weeks and give the first shot, then another shot at 8 weeks, and then again at 10 weeks or so. This shot has nothing to do with wormers, you would need to buy those separate. Dog vaccines come in 1cc size for any size dog/puppy.

How much would you need to put on a puppy threw 6-8 weeks?
And do they come with a wormer?

@Doom4life316 Should you need to put the needle down for any reason or at any time, carefully recap prior to putting the needle down. Other then that, great video!
Just a comment from what I am seeing in this video regarding maintaining a sterile technique. First tip I have, is to wipe down each vial that you are going to use prior to the injection with an alcohol swab. NEVER put the needle down prior to injection on any surface as doing so makes the needle no longer sterile (in this case, possible lint from your towel touching the needle).

Puppies should get 3-4 puppy shots between 6 and 16 weeks of age. Then a booster at one year of age. Then typically a booster every 3-4 years after.
You should have the smallest needles available, they are the puppy/kitten sized needles. No dog loves getting a vaccine but its for their own good. I would get someone to hold and restrain her while you inject it. Sometimes the skin on the back of the neck hurts them less than in the leg but be sure to go nowhere near the spine, a needle to the spine could paralyze her! Hold the skin tight and inject. She’ll thank you for it later when it prevents her from getting sick.
i have the same vaccination vile of meds like that for my puppy but i need help. I’ve already given her 2 and she has 2 more but shes super tiny and the needle is super huge so now if i try giving her another injection she freaks out and bites..what shall i do?
