You are clipping dirty nails? 0:50 Very unsanitary practice ! Nails – especially dirty nails – should be clipped only after the bath when paws and nails have been cleaned.
dont clip althe way to the pink in clear nails somedog will still bleed like kimburlee said…ive ben cliping dog nails for 3 years have 10 dogs n 3 cats so iv done alot of clipping and i oinly nicked the quick twice n i trim my rots every 2 weeks shes an inside dog so i check them every week n take a small amoutn off
I have the nail clipper with my labs nail in the hole, but Im just too scared to squeeze the clippers! Can anyone enlighten me on getting over this fear!
This video is a WASTE. Can’t see anything… black dog – black nails! I suggest using a light colored, very large dog, and a camera guy who can zoom in real close. I’m disappointed.

ugh! my pit has a due claw! i hate it! i cut it one time & her nails are clear so i went & i cut her nails it was weird because i know for a fact that i didn’t cut her quick & omg my babygirl ran away from me i was like ?! get back here! so i went to make sure she was okay & her nail was bleeding i didn’t have the quik stop so i had to use candle wax . . . yes you learn little tricks like that when grooming or you can use cornmeal or how ever you spell it

just don’t clip a big part of the nail at once just clip little parts…that’s how i do it my dog also has black nails and boy does she hate this :S
