@CAROLMRAMOS You do realize the dogs dont stay in the crate ALL DAY. They go a walks through out the day. Time to walk, to run and to play with other dogs, to come into the living room SUPERVISED. fool.

Crating is a popular “convenience practice” that is often used on adult dogs. The inappropriate practice deprives dogs of the opportunity to fulfill some of their most basic needs, such as the freedom to walk around, the chance to relieve themselves, and the comfort of stretching out to relax. Crating began as a convenience for people who participate in “dog shows” to keep their dogs clean, but they did not take into account their dogs’ social, physical, and psychological requirements.
alot of ppl have labadors i have one and its only 10 weeks so its so cute and small
@TheLuvpuppy: I disagree, crate training was wonderful for my Labrador. I got her as an adult, and she had a little trouble with housebreaking (and with anxiety-related destructiveness); crate-ing her was very effective in stopping both of these. It was also a great way to train her to not beg at the table; a simple “Midnight, crate!” sent her to her crate so we could eat in peace, and she knew she’d get her meal afterwards. Crate training is wonderful!
This is really bad info for dog owners,as a trainer for almost 40 years I suggest you disregard this one.
