I was wondering what my chances are currently on getting into the following Universities. I had taken the SAT but haven’t received scores yet..but I am aiming for a 1800 at least. The following universities I will be applying for…

Do not let the dog pull you. When the dog starts to pull, stop! Make the dog sit down next to you. It takes a lot of practice but it works.

My dog hated puppy pads…never peed on them only ate them Are you not able to take the pup out doors?? A Shepherd is a big breed for a pee pad…unless you are going to transition to outdoor training once the pup’s grown.

I have a 5 yr old alpha doberman female, that I found out after having her about 2 months that she was trained as an area protection dog/ deterrent. When she is outside in the yard, she is always “looking” into the neighbors yards, and everything she sees that moves gets barked at and she runs the perimeter of the yard like she is possessed. I was told she was trained to do that. I do not know if she would bite anyone who happened to come into her area,because it is gated and no one has ever tried.I have asked several dog trainers about how to get her to stop doing it, with no luck/ideas that work. She is very very loud and the neighbors kids are scared of her. She is very friendly, and so quiet and chill when in the house and out in public that you don’t even notice her. But shes a monster in the backyard. I have tried the whistle technique, bringing her in when she starts the bad behavior, and rewarding her for “quiet”. None of it works. I want to be able to be out in the yard with her and my other 3 dogs peacefully. I have had her for a year and no luck. My other 3 dogs do not act like her. They are very good in the yard and occasionally chase a squirrel. Does anyone have any other ideas?

If you want her to stop barking outside, it is going to be alot of work. Be outside with her and when she barks, make the loud shh! noise like the dog whisperer and push her with your finger tips. That is the only way I have heard of that works. It is a habit and like many habits, you have to work hard to break them! Good luck!

Question by May’n: Any answers about my dog’s leg?
We just went through a ton of incidental veterinary trouble all at once, and, since my parents are bankrupt, I’m wondering if anyone with dog-knowledge can put my mind at ease before we take any medical measures.

Mozart is a male, four year old, 85.1 lb American Pit Bull Terrier/Rottweiler. Yesterday, I took him to my hometown. At my old neighbor’s house, we heard a loud crash on the stairs, and Mozart ran up the stairs, seeming fine. My friend and I put Mozart and Magnum, her dog, outside to play while we watched TV. About half an hour later, I saw through the sliding door that Mozart was limping. I hadn’t taken a good look at him between the crash on the stairs and when we put the dogs outside.

I took him home and checked the paw he was limping on (the back left), and there weren’t any splinters, and no lacerations. His claws were normal. If I squeezed or rattled the leg, he had zero reaction. Dad told me to wait until morning, but now he’s hopping around on three legs and won’t even use the back left leg. He didn’t run to see me when he heard me this morning like usual, but he came when I called him. At four pm, I tried pressing and moving his entire leg up to the knee, with no reaction whatsoever. It’s like he’s limping for no reason, but I know that dogs don’t fake sick. Do you think his leg is asleep, or does it sound serious enough to go ahead and spend the money at the vet again?

Additional information: Mozart and Magnum wrestled a bit, but I didn’t see any biting, and it’s not like either one to fight. Again, there’s no sign of injury. Mozart has lived in our rambler for several months, but he was trained for stairs before we adopted him, and we use them on our walks sometimes. Definitely no broken bones. Sometimes he steps on it when he loses balance, but he doesn’t flinch or whine when that happens.

try massaging it or something of that sort it was probably twisted or it banged it against something this happened to my dog too and it worked
