I would have to say when he is is a month or two, but if you think now is not the great time to take him on walks, then simply just play outside with him and his chewy toys.

start walking him at that age, it is perfect age, and perfect season(summer). it is a good way of house training him.. make sure he does not go in the grass too much because of possible flea infection.. also make sure you keep an eye out of bugs, dirty stuff in the ground, and ALSO snakes, bull-frogs-poisonous frogs( there are lots of Garder snakes near where i walk my puppy) and make sure they dont get near him.. You can put a light t-shirt on him- that will ^protect him from mosquito bites, or fleas.. Wash his paws in the tub as soon as you come in because you dont want possible bacteria contamination in your household.
when he is around a month and a half old
until then you should keep him in a crate to get him used to the time he needs to use the rest room
but you need to walk him as soon as possible because he needs to know where he is supposed to use the rest room
i would start walking now! but it wouldn’t be for long times just so he get’s use to the lead and walking correctly!
Breed and age are the two big factors to take into consideration when determining how much exercise your dog should get. Here’s more info:

My vet always told us NOT to walk our puppy in the park or neighborhood because they can get parvo or other diseases. We were told to wait until vaccinations are finished before taking him out to public places. If you want to get him used to a leash, try walking in your own yard if that is an option.
You can start walking him now, just start with short walks. If he is a small breed, you may need to just go to the end of the driveway and back. You can start increasing distance as your puppy gets bigger.
never walk a puppy that young. You need to wait until he is fully vaccinated.. that may be until he is at least 4 months. There are 4 sets of shots to give your puppy before you can t ake him out for walks. Right now he is vulnerable to viruses and diseases… Parvo.. he can die. You never know what he can get from even through his paws. My advice is wait. i have a 5 month old puppy and barely taking her out. What i did is i had her look out the window with window open to get her familiar with every day sounds… then i had a friend of mine bring her dog over (i knew 100 % he was fully vaccinated) to my place and my dog got used to her and they played. He was the only dog around her. i recorded barking sounds so she wouldnt be scared of them.. etc. Be very careful and wait. i dont know how big your pup is but i would take mine out in a purse… never brought her down on her fours though until now. Good Luck!
