Ask around at pet stores or vets to find out if there are any cheap dog training courses or lessons. Or you could see if you know anyone who is good with dogs or has trained their dogs and ask them to help you out. Good luck.
Your pups is simply not trained and you obviously don’t know how to. Go to the Library and get some good books on dog training, or if you have the money buy the books. You really need them and start reading asap.
I helped my niece with her puppy and it worked. Here is what I did. I first sat on the floor and did not say anything to the puppy. Then I gently put my hand on her back and said ‘down’ and gentle make her go down to the floor. I kept my hand on her back and she squirmed for only about 1/2 minute (I did not say anything). She knew by my hand what I wanted her to do. She then submitted to me and became calm. Once she was calm, I release pressure slightly and began to rub her back. But when she tried to get up, I again applied pressure to keep her in a down position. My niece said she never saw the pup that calm!
You must start to become the puppy’s pack leader. Check out the websites and videos from Cesar Milan (The Dog Whisperer).
well first she needs 2 learn she cant use the bathroom in ur house.try taking her outside and if she “goes”give her a treat and say”good girl”.if she does it in the house say “no”in a firm tone(but dont yell) and dont give her any treats and dont pet her.she should eventually learn that she will get rewarded if she goes outside and hopefully will learn not 2 go in the house.4 the teething problem do the same thing sort of,wen she chews on somthn she’s not suppose 2 and u catch her doing it say”no”in a firm tone but dont yell.get her sum toys she can chew on and play with.she prob needs somthn 2 chew on and toys wud be great!4 the training prt i wud wait a little while aftr she learn the things above then start training(dnt wait 2 late tho)wen u strt 2 train try 2 teach her “lay”.say “lay” if she doesnt do anything try 2 gently put her in a laying position(hav sum treats with u)wen u put her in the position say “lay”again and while she’s laying down giv her a treat and pet her and say “good girl” and reward her.keep repeating this until she learns it,then do the same thing with othr tricks u want 2 teach her.i hope i helpd! good luck!!
you need to spend time not money with your puppy. lots of time and you must have lots of patiets. your dog will be the easiest to train up to 22 weeks old. then it gets harder every week. there are heaps of free websites and as other ppl mentioned books (library usualy have alot). then actually do what they say. do not give up. the second you give up its like going back wards so never let your dog do something its not meant to do and make sure everyone in the family does it too. its important you be a leader and the dog will then take your orders. good luck
Find a book on puppy training at the local library – heck find lots! read up on what to do and then do it – be consistent, don’t give in to her – buy her a crate.
and don’t worry about ‘tricks’ til she’s housetrained and has her recall and sit/stay sorted!
well skip the dog tricks everytime she does something bad flick her on the ear, use a water bottle to squirt her, spank her, etc. everytime she poops any wear take her out side and tell her “bad girl”
If you do not have one, acquire a crate. Either the web or the library will instruct you on crate training your puppy. This is the place to start and will alleviate most of your immediate problems.
OK. I have a Yorkie or yorkshire also. I had the same problems. Buy PP pads for littles puppies. They have some scent thet will atract them to p on it. For poopy take them outside a lot. Get mad at them if they poop inside. if they do put them outside fo 10 minutes. The biting youll just have to deal with it. Pick him up if he bites you and no. Dont say it loud but hearable. Blow into his face he’ll kiss you a lot. By the way my Yorkies name is dino but the i is high.
She is doing what puppy’s do.Yorkies are hard to house break. Just keep working with her. Don’t try to teach her tricks till you get her trained. You are overwhelming her with too many things all at once. Give her a chance.
i know just how you feel. for the pooping problem you can by stuff that you put where you want your dog too go to the toilet. if shes aloud out side you should take her out side 20 minutes after shes eaten or druken if she has to stay inside you should get that stuff and put it on some news paper.also if you feed her wet food you should stop cause the more that goes in the more that cums out.also when she bites you yelp the ignore her till she settles down but if she does it again get up, turn your back on her and ignore her again untill she settles down. ( shes only playing with you, she doesnt know it hurts ) if you want any more help email me on jade_luvs_lulu@hotmail.com hope i helped : )
What you have is an untrained dog. You will have to start from square one, just like a pup, and probably change your attitude towards this small dog.
Buy a crate, start with crate training. There are many good articles online pertaining to this. Look up NILIF, which stands for Nothing In Life Is Free. Start orienting your training towards this.
I’m guessing that dog weighs somewhere around 5-7 pounds. Put a zero on the end of that, and treat and train that dog as if it is that size. I had a Yorkie years ago, and several smaller terriers since. If you treat that dog like a tiny fragile thing it will rule your life. It thinks the same as any larger dog. Lose the baby Yorkie attitude, it is a terrier, and needs to be trained as such.

you call her a baby, how old is she?

Keep her and give her time. She is just a baby puppy.

You also need to learn how dogs think, this is an excellent book; http://www.amazon.com/Culture-Clash-Revolutionary-Understanding-Relationship/dp/1888047054/ref=pd_bbs_sr_2?ie=UTF8&s=books&qid=1215177850&sr=1-2
