does anyone have info or suggestions for litter box training toy poodles? i’m getting one soon, and thought this would work best for us as it is winter where we live. any suggestions would be helpful. thank you in advance!

I would definitely try putting litter anywhere the dog runs or plays. Eventually, put down less litter than usual. Then, after you believe it knows where to go, put the litter in a litter box. If it doesn’t use it in the litter box, discipline it.

anywho, i wouldn’t do that, i had a beagle and i paper trained it becuase it was winter and it was to cold out.. And when it became summer it would never go outside to go to the washroom, like if i let it outside it wait to come inside to go to the washroom.
i would suggest you wait till spring to get your puppy and train it to go outside because if you have a dog that goes to the washroom inside it will start to stink after a while
