Get a weewee pad, and train him to pee on it. You have to discipline him if he pees everywhere. He is probably marking his territory and since he is still a puppy, you can neuter him. This will help / lessen the peeing inside the house.
HE HE HE I have a Jack myself, since I was 5 and she was a puppy, and shes 14 now.
Had this same problem, I know what you are going through. We had brought her to Pet smart for their dog training and obedience program, which really got her to obey and be house broken.
To be honest, there is nothing you can do about this until it is trained. Just because of the fact that these types of dogs are EXTREMELY stubborn and disobedient by nature, but are one of the most loving dogs there are. If you scold the dog for doing it, it will not do anything at all, the peeing will continue.
You sorta just got to strife through and wait until the preschool to start seeing changes, because these dogs generally don’t obey their owners at first, they need an outside party to train them these things, and the training needs to be very persistent.
Gently tell him off when he pee’s indoors. Make sure he knows that its wrong and put him straight outside. You need to spot the signs when he wants to go to the toilet. Put him outside and praise him highly when he eventually goes, giving him a small treat and lots of vocal praise. Over time he will associate going to toilet outside with having a treat.
I know how you are feeling!! We would take him out every chance we got and when he did go (outside) we would praise him and give him a treat! Then he started going on his own, without our help, when he did this we still praised him-after a lil bit he learned how to go without praising or treats!!!
Dogs have been known to learn a “trick” (in this case potty training), but in new places they “lose” the trick. It just mean they have to be re-trained a bit.
First of all, make sure you clean up every mess the puppy makes, especially the smell. Dogs are drawn to using the bathroom where they know they’ve gone before. Store brands that get rid of the smell specifically don’t always work because they have ammonia in them (also in urine). There are home remedies that work just as well, such as using a little white vinegar and putting baking soda in it, then vacuuming it up.
Second comes the actual training, realize that the puppy can only hold it so long (rule of thumb is something like “number of months +1 = hrs able to hold it”).
- Create a feeding and bathroom schedule BE CONSISTENT - Go to the same spot every time (when they get there they’ll know “bathroom time”) - Punish the puppy only if you catch them while they are making the mess, otherwise they don’t know why you’re punishing them (don’t beat him, a small swat will do if that’s how you chose to train him. From experience this works best for my pups and I certainly tried to go with the “no swat” method, but it might for you.) - Praise him when he gets it right, act kind of excited. - Remember, accidents happen.
Puppies have very tiny bladders and need to be let out constantly. Every 2 hours if possible until he gets a little older then with age and bladder control its less often. Crate and obedience training can help also. But the only way I have ever had luck with potty training is to take pup out every two hours, yes even in the middle of the night. Also tying a leash to your belt loop while you are at home, that way you can be with him all the time and notice when he is about to go. Another trick is to take the paper towel you use to clean up the mess with outside and show him that’s where it goes. Good luck with ur new bundle of joy!!!!

It seems like hard work but its just persistence.
I treated my dog with food everytime he goes out and does his stuff. After a week or so he only goes in the house when no one is home to let him out.
Worked for my rat terrier who is 11 months old. Try it and see if it works for you
