-Will you travel?

-How long is your work week?
-Will you work days, nights, or both?
-Will you work overtime?

-What is the typical beginning salary?

-What kind of education does this career require?
-What is a good college to attend for this career?

You should contact some professional trainers in your area, and see if you can get a personal interview with one of them. Having a primary source like that would most definitely WOW your teacher/prof! Check your yellow pages, and make some calls to find the trainers who help with the K9 service in your town/city. My trainer does this type of work….. if you want, you could even check out his site and email him your questions, I’m sure he’d be more than happy to help, or even give you some contacts, point you in the right direction, etc:

Most professionals (especially dog people) would be MORE than happy to spend some time talking about what they do, and why they love it!!
