He still eats like a hoover and is drinking well. Will go for a walk but doesn’t run around as much, but is sleeping for most of the day..this just isn’t like him. Any ideas?

at that age they sleep a lot.also is it hot where you are that can make a puppy sleep more,
they need there sleep at that age ,but if you are worried contact a vet

take him to the vet he could have an infection in the ears or something.
Take him for a check up and have his heart listened to. Pups do sleep a lot but sounds like he is intolerable of much exercise which can indicate a heart problem.

Well, all dogs like to sleep during the day and guard in the night-this is what they are made for
Depending on the breed and type of food you give him, I recommend a proper diet from a good PUPPY food. Unlike adult dog food, puppy food has essential vitamins and irons etc… that help give the proper nourishment a puppy needs during the growing stages, which is fastest during their first years of life.
But still, always call your vet and ask. Make sure he has his first vaccines up to date, especially PARVO. It’s important to have that one if you take him outside. Good luck to you both.

If he already go, then, did his vet told you anything?
But, when have this problem started to happen?
Puppy suppose to be very active as a small boy who like to run & jump around or playing fav toy..& he also need to eat 4 time a day, but not so much each time, just normal puppy amount that fit it size. ( if he over eating also will feel uncomfort as well, puppy won’t know he is full, he will just eat whatever you give him) so, hope you will notice him well by don’t letting him eat too much.
And there’s another thing you have to take note, bring him out more often for exercise, like waliking for 30 min each time for wee & poo as well as letting him socialized with dog & people, make him more happy ,friendly,healthy & destress doggy.
(Bring along a toy for him to play as well when going out for a walk)
