Keeping a 10 week puppy entertained? FUN GAMES!?
Question by Hannah: Keeping a 10 week puppy entertained? FUN GAMES!?
Got a 10 week old cavalier king charles spaniel. What fun games can I play with him to entertain him and tire him out so he sleeps!
At the minute I’ve just got him a few toys, and letting him play by himself. I throw them a few times for him but thats about it….. lol!
I’m also training him to ‘sit’ and ‘lie down’.
Other than that I don’t know what fun games I can play with him.
Any ideas?????????????

You can throw toys for him to chase… you can give him something that occupies his time like a Buster Cube or a stuffed Kong toy. You can walk across the room and then call him to you (just act silly and he’ll run to you)…. that’s how you teach the recall anyways.

fetch, tug of war, buy a kong ball and stuff treats in the middle (will keep him busy for hours)!!!!
Keeping a puppy entertained is pretty easy. Mine love playing tug-o-war, fetch, and chasing games. They also love to rough house with each other and with my wife and I. I’ll push one of them and she’ll pounce at me and give my hand a little play bite. If you decide to physically play with your dog you should make sure he knows that biting is wrong. If he ever gets you too hard make sure you firmly let him know he did something wrong.
tug of war
well i always play this game with my dogs: i put them in a bedroom or bathroom and shut the door for a minute. i get yummy treats and hide them around the living room. i let them out and say “find em!” and they run around and sniff them out. they love it and it entertains them. another game ive taught my dogs is peekaboo. i take a blanket and put it over their head and say..”(dogs name) where are u!?” and then they throw it off and lick ur face. its quite amusing actually
. also, idk if ur dog will like it. but my dogs love to play frisbee outside. one of my dogs actually catches them in the air. you could also take him to a dog park to meet other dogs and play with them. then u dont have to constantly entertain him. plus he will get more used to other dogs, which is always a good thing. hope i helped! good luck!
if you play fetch when he comes back make it exiting.you can do tug of war hide and seek or get a toy get her hyped up run she will run after you for the toy. to play hide and seek throw a toy and hide call her name a couple of times and she will find you
