Well she is a puppy and i can see how she might be annoying during the night. But i wouldnt leave my dog outside. But if you think she is comfortable and she isnt outside in the cold, it is probably okay. bring her kennel inside though, that would be nicer!
I am a big animal lover and no, I don’t think it is mean. HOWEVER, if the temperature is too hot or too cold outside, it is your duty to keep the animal inside the house in extreme temperatures.
I had a neighbor who kept their dog outside 24/7 during really cold weather and didn’t hesistate to call the police on them.
A good way to judge is this. Is is too cold for ME to sleep outside? If it is, then bring your puppy inside.
No this just means that she is an outside dog! As long as she has some sort of shelter and she isnt out where another animal could attack her then its fine!
My dogs are all outside dogs & it hasn’t hurt them. I have a GSD who would sleep out when it is snowing even though she has a dog house & straw bale houses. That was her choice. But she has a very thick coat in the winter.
The Dalmatian also had the straw bale houses & a heated dog house but she chose the straw bale houses instead of her heated dog house.
The Hound had privy to all of the above & chose the heated dog house.
I just put a heat lamp in the huge dog house, it will hold two dogs.
No it is not cruel as long as you provide for them accordingly.
No really, unless she is being kept outside when it is colder and if she is in danger of any animals hurting her or spraying her with stink I would never let my dog sleep out side. She would need to be taken in when it thunderstorming or raining on nice warm breezy nights she should be okay but she isnt a farm dog im assuming and should be kept inside.
It is perfectly acceptable for a dog to sleep outside. It’s down to the owners choice. I keep my dog indoors at night, but it’s my personal choice to keep her in my room with me, so I know that she is safe and that she will wake me up if she feels unwell.
Other owners would like to keep the dog smell out, and not risk a dog fouling during the night, etc. It’s personal choice, though I would question putting a nine week old puppy outside at night. If you want to keep the dog out there in the future, it is best to let them know early how they will sleep, but I would wait a few more months yet.
It also depends on the breed of the dog. My dog is an Alaskan Malamute and can sleep in freezing temperatures, whilst a White Scottish Terrier will probably freeze to death.
Extremely mean. Why get a dog to throw outside, especially at night? Outside dogs are nuisances to their neighborhoods (barking!), and at nine weeks, that puppy is too young to spend the night outdoors.

Unless she is going to be a working animal she has no business being outside.
+For a puppy that old it is very mean.. It needs socialization with people if it expected to respect the family. Not to mention security.
I have a border collie mix and he sleeps inside ,in my room on a doggy bed. Why would he need to sleep outside??
I think its mean, but thats just me.

well as long as shes safe and not harmed then its not mean.
No, it is better to train her to sleep outside now while she is a puppy than to allow her to sleep in side and make her sleep outside later.
