Its because he smells really bad and his dirty can i take him a shower after walking the puppy(husky) in cold weather?

If you must shower/bath a puppy after being out in the snow wait at least one hour for their body temps to regulate slowly so they do not have a Temperature shock form the sudden change. Dry them completely before going out again. Remember huskies have double coats. They should be dry all the way to the skin.

I suggest giving the puppy a chance to warm up inside the house first and then shower the pup with warm water. Don’t do it directly from being outside. If the dog is really dirty stick them in a room that is fairly easy to clean while the dog is warming up from the cold. To be on the safe side I would wait half an hour to an hour depending on the temperature difference.

You shouldn’t but if you do you have to dry him completely and keep him warm.
