FOOD AGGRESSION There are several different methods that can be used to break food aggression. With my Cairn Terrier, I had to combine two methods before I saw any results. When she fixes the food, put the puppy in sit. Only releasing her when the food bowl is on the floor. Since it is only your mother she does this with…it may be a dominancy issue. By keeping her in sit, she is controlling the meal time and re-establishing her roll as boss. Depending on how far she is in her training, this may take two people. I had to put my CT on a least to keep her in sit until we got far enough in her training that she would sit/stay on command. I had to put this together with the “trade-up” method. After releasing her to eat, take her bowl mid-meal and replace it with a special treat…then let her resume her meal. She actually got to where she would stop eating and wait for me to take her bowl. Hope this helps…I put the website I used in the source and although it was trial and error…these two methods combined worked for me.
Try to socialize him more… take him to a dog park (If you have those) and let him off leash with other dogs so he is used to be around them. With certain breeds of dogs they are just naturally aggressive… I got a rhodesian ridgeback pup and he was quite aggressive but when we started to take him out to the dog park he got alot less aggressive
You should contact your local Pet Smart or PetCo and find out when they have obedience classes and enroll ASAP. They also may know an animal behavior specialist. It is important you take immediate action to help this pet fit into your family. No aggression should be accepted!
Before you feed your puppy, make sure he is calm. If he show any kind of aggression remove the bowl and tell him to sit. Do not give him the food again until he is calm.
You can also hold the bowl and then remove it but only give it to him again when he is calm and sits.
You must make him know that he only gets food when he is in a calm state and also that you own the food not him!
First start with something better than her food. When she’s eating go up to her and just drop some cooked chicken in her bowl. Humm, that’s not threatening, it’s pretty good. Do that several days. Don’t interrupt much, just drop a couple of pieces and stand.
Increase your contact with it, maybe with hot dog chunks. Make getting interrupted a good thing.
If puppy is agressive at other times, you may have to learn some basic control holds. Continue to hold even if the world is comming to and end right this minute!!! Because if you let them loose while frantic, it says if I get frantic, I’ll get out of this.
Be calm. Don’t let the dog psyche you out. Be the leader. Expect respect.
Be sure it is getting pleanty of excercise. A tired dog is a good dog.
Dog-dog aggression is a very serious matter. Until your dog’s successfully treated, keep him a safe distance from all other dogs (“safe distance” meaning the minimum amount of space he needs to remain calm and unstressed). here’s more info: http://dogtime.com/aggression-toward-dogs.html

if you have the time feed them one at a time and as the other one approaches and growls you correct it or the simple way feed them in seperate places
