How urgent does my puppy need this booster?
Question by erskirtz: How urgent does my puppy need this booster?
I have a two and a half month old female Siberian Husky. I took it to the vet about 2 weeks ago and the veternerian gave me a schedule sheet or a time line of when my dog should get shots. I just remembered and saw that I missed the first one which is a booster shot? The booster was suppose to be given at 6 28.

You shouldn’t miss the shots. You are putting her health at risk doing that. What happens is the blood levels of the shots she was given first drop and leave her immunity to the diseases low.

It will be OK, just get her in and get it done as soon as you can.
You need to get your pup in as soon as possible to get her booster.
My vet sends out post card notices and what’s great is he has a shot clinic on Wednesdays and doesn’t charge an office call.
Every time I get my puppy’s boosters I come back in 3 to 4 weeks. They should get them at 8 weeks of age.
Go to the vet and get the shots done – if you’ve missed the one, then it’ll just be done when you go, but it works better the sooner you go and get it done.
At his age, your puppy is considered high risk for puppy diseases like parvo and distemper. I would definitely get him in to the vet as soon as you are able to. His immune system is weak and immature, at this point.
If he were 5 years old a a few weeks (or more) behind, it wouldn’t be a big deal at all.
Get Your pup in ASAP.
Parvo, Leptospirosis, Distemper, Tetanus etc. are all very real and deadly to your pup.
