Don’t go outside when there’s a lot of kids around. If he’s an older pup, chances are he’s had a bad experience with kids. Forcing him to go outside when he’s clearly scared will only make things worse. Instead, have some quieter kids come over. Have the kids stand a distance away and without meeting your dog’s eyes, toss a tasty treat to him. Have kids on the street toss food in his direction and walk calmly off. He’ll start to think: kids=treats. Until then, don’t bring your dog around kids. If he gets too scared, or cornered, the result could turn bad.

if he/she is a puppy, i can understand because my puppy used 2 b like dat. their just scared because their small and the kids are big compared to them.
Give him his time and when he finally does you should definitely reward him with praise, treats, or even both.

what we did was every morning we would open the door and then put him outside and we’d wait until he goes potty. we did that every morning for not too long. we had a smart dog.
so then whenever we’d open the back door in the morning, the dog knew to go outside and go potty
well just dont go outside when kids are around every 10min take your dog and say gotta go potty and let them do it after awhile theyll either let you know they have to go or you take them and when you say gotta go potty when you go outside he will automatically go
