My mini-dachshund had a litter of 4 and they are 4 weeks old. When I start them on puppy food/water mix, how much should I be giving them and how often?

4 weeks is a good time to start them.
As much as they can eat… 4 times a day.
Edit: The dam will begin weaning them at her own pace. You simply supplement what she is feeding them and as she weans you continue to increase the amount. By 8 weeks of age most pups are fully weaned and only nurse from the dam for comfort… at that time I decrease feedings to 3 times a day.

my jrt pups are 5 weeks old and get 3 small meals a day
