Question by juliana m: how much food do u feed a dog thats feeding her puppies?
my dog gave birth to 3 puppies and now they are 3 weeks old. my dog is feeding them but she seems to be pretty skinny.. and i think im feeding her to little.. i feed 2 times a day. but big amounts.. my freind suggested 4 times a day but small amounts. it that a good amount?

most dog food packaging will state the amount to feed lactating dogs – that means dogs that are nursing puppies. Just look on the bag and feed her the directed amount.
