Answer by xres74 You need to use incentives. First show her what you want her to do, and reward her when she does it right. The rewards can be verbal, gestures, or food. Repeat for a few times, and she will get it.

Sometimes it is easier to use a treat. Praise her with a treat only when she does the task correctly, or has worked for it. But DON’T raise your tone with her if she is a bit slow at catching on as the end result will be frustration for the both of you. If her attention starts to wander, cut the session short and ALWAYS end each training in a positive manner. By this I mean doing something she already knows. Otherwise she will start to associate a negative attitude and punishment with her training sessions. Have your training sessions in a secluded area avoiding all distractions or noises.
Give the treat with a positive encouraging attitude, but praise her calmly. It is better not to get over enthusiastic as she will begin to anticipate your excitement and it will be difficult for her to sit still. Before you know it, she will do the tricks not for the treat but for the simple reason that she wants nothing more in the world than to please you!
