Let him bite your fingers, with them turned up so that when he bites, your finger nails will go into the roof of his mouth…it will hurt so he will stop doing it.
I had this same problem with my dog, and a vet told me to try this. You get a spray bottle, a little one that they sell at any drugstore, and spray his nose when he does it. I found this very useful, because it got his attention quickly with out yelling. Also, I used the same method to help house train. Now when I want him to leave soemthing alone and he wont litsen, i put the bottle next to it and the problem is over with out any real issues.
It is now kid only so it dont know what it was doing whether it was wrong or right. so after sometimes it realize and change it character. so dont worry of it. if you feel like that give vegetarian food and items. so it will be reduced.
don’t play with him with your hands around his mouth and as much as you want to, don’t get on the floor and play with him, he may mistake you as another “puppy” and not the dominent figure…give him plenty of toys to chew on like pig’s ears at a pet store (but not the whole thing at a time, could get the hershey squirtzies) and never yell at him using his name…just say “NO!” and clap your hands
If he is nipping when you are playing and he bites too hard, or even if he bites when he’s not supposed to, try biting him back. Don’t bite too hard. I did it with my American Pitt Bull Terrier and it worked. When I did it I bit him behind his ear on the side of his neck and I said, “No Bite!” I know it sounds really strange, but believe it or not it really worked. I only had to do it once. From now on when I say no bite he listens really well.
Seriously, dont’ hurt the puppy like some other comments. You should never feel your dogs teeth, it breeds agresive behaviors. When he is doing something you do not like, put your hand on his chest and flip him on his back and say in a stern tone ‘no’ -don’t yell-. He may struggle (probably will), hold him. if it carries on after ~7 seconds, give him a little jerk and repeat ‘no’. After a few seconds his body should go limp, this is him being submissive and letting you know you are the boss. If you are kneeling, try to flip him into your lap, this way he has to look up to you.
And it has to be done within two seconds, or else the puppy quickly forgets what he was doing.
This works for any unwanted behavior, up till they are 1 yr old.
try to buy your puppy some rubber toys so that he won’t bite you. teach your puppy not to bite you by punishing him. you can give him a time out by putting him outside for a little while so that he learns his lesson.(just don’t hurt him like in those other stupid sugestions)i mean he’s a puppy so he needs to bite things because his teeth are growing. just like babies, thier gums are itchy.
I wonder if the dog is nipping as in what a pup does in a litter. Or is this dog showing his teeth and growling. To big differences. If it is the second you must stop it now buy being firm with him or get a crate and put him in time out. If he is really threatening you you can stop it buy trowing water on him. Most dogs hate that and it should cool him off quickly

when he bites flick him on the nose, not hard but let him know whatever he is doing is not ok, when you flick him tell him NO very sternly.

My son taps his puppy on the nose and tells him no. It seems to have done the job so far.
