give her a little smack to let her know it’s wrong. she will eventually learn not to teeth on you. Treats may also help.

Your puppy needs to learn bite inhibition – i.e she can mouth you to a certain point, but not so much that it hurts. Try pinching her nose and saying ‘No’ in a very firm voice each time she mouths you too hard, and praise her as soon as she stops. She should eventually learn that there is a line, and will know where that line is. Make sure you also ask visitors to your home to employ the same technique otherwise she may learn not to do it to you, but will continue to do it to other people.
I’m assuming here that it’s a young pup. Giving a high pitched yip like any littermate would do gets the point across quickly and effectively. Do this any time puppy teeth touch human skin. If there are kids, you can make it a game to them to help.
Go to the pet store or ask your vet. I used this stuff once but it was a long time ago. Basically it is stuff you can spray on your feet that won’t bother you in any way abut your dog will think it is so bad she will stay away! I only had to put it on my hands and feet twice and she stopped! I hope this helps
This may sound silly, but it may work well.
Say ‘OUCH’ and pull away.
… and do it like you mean it.
… do what you would do if they had drawn blood.
DO NOT let the younger kids do this.
Kids will giggle and it will turn into a game.
It’s not a game.
If that doesn’t work, grab their upper or lower jaw so that the skin is pushed in over the teeth. Firmly but gently squeeze. When they start to whine, you can let go.
One of the rules in my house.
Dog teeth never touch human skin.
No exceptions.
I strongly suggest you check out the Kong line of dog toys. They are the only brand that I buy anymore. They are unbelievably durable and your dog will LOVE them! You mentioned she gets bored with her teething toy rather quickly, so if you buy one of these Kong balls, http://store.thenewyorkdogshop.com/kongmedium.html you are able to put a treat up inside of it that will keep her busy for hours and hours. They even have peanut butter flavor pet spread to squirt into this toy – I just saw it in the pet store the other day.
Hope this helps!
