just be normal, don’t over do it with attention on its first day, let it wander around to get used to its surroundings

He will certainly be very nervous. Just put his food and water out in its place and just leave him. He will probabley sleep. we tried very hard to make our puppy play but she had no interest in being the centre of attention and just sat in her bedBasicallyly if he wants to be let out for a wee, or wantattentionon give it to him, but otherwise just let her settle in, and act normal around her.
Your puppy will be quite nervous when he comes home, and will nibble on your finger for comfort, so dont let that freak you out x let him/her wonder around and take a good look at everything, so he/her can get used to his surroundings, and make sure you have puppy pads!! he/her will pee and poo alot. and dont give spoil them too much, you will regret it when they have got older because if you dont give them what they want like you previously did when they were a puppy, they will get agressive.
Hope this helps! xxxxxxxxxx
I didn’t bring my dog home she was actually born from a female husky that my ex had and i got to keep a puppy out of the litter since he breeds husky. so i have had her since she was born and on top of that i had to bottle feed her since her mother refused to feed the puppies after they were born. she pretty much knew her surroundings.
Hi,
It’s important to help your new pet acclimate to your home by being prepared and being patient. It may take anywhere from a few days to two months for you and your new dog to adjust to each other. Here are more info:
