Does hebreally abuse dogs- I don’t really agree with his trainig methods, but how is he abusive?

since I don’t know the gentleman, I don’t know if ‘abusive’ is fair, but from the clips I have seen I would say he works on the principle that you shock the dog into obedience. Now this might work in the short term, but in the long term I wonder how many of these owners get snapped at. Dogs can react in 2 ways, flight or fight, so if you back a dog into a corner (metaphorically speaking), then there is a chance they will snap, to protect themselves and warn the owner to stop.
Many of the clips show the dogs looking away from there owner, they are not enjoying the training, they are literally ‘showing their back’ to their owners, this means that you would not get far in obedience where you and your dog have to enjoy yourselves and work as a team.
Honestly, I don’t know if I would call him abusive, but I would never let him hold the leash of my dog. There are a couple of links below you can check out.
some examples are: slapping dogs in the face, jerking dogs front feet off the floor or jerking them so hard they all but ‘fly through the air’. He seems to suffer from anger and seems to take the dog misbehaving as personal.
