Annoying Facebook Friend?
Question by John Marston: Annoying Facebook Friend?
Everytime I like a page on Facebook, whether it be a page for a website, band, or just like a joke page I have this friend that always like the pages I like. He likes them right after I like them too. I first noticed when I liked a Facebook page for “Don’t Give Micheal Vick a 2nd Chance.” Which was a page going against Micheal Vick for dog fighting. A couple hours later I went on his page to write on his wall and whatever and saw that he liked the same page. So, I was like whatever it’s for a good cause. But now everytime I like a page he ends up liking like 50% of the pages I like and it gets on my nerves. I like alot of random stuff on Facebook too just recently I liked a page called “I hate when you drink the last of a drink and the ice attacks your face.” And of coarse my friend likes it too. I don’t know if it’s the fact that he’s liking everything I like or the fact that he’s looking on my page to see what I liked so he can like it bothers me more. I don’t know, maybe I’m just full of crap but it annoys me. Does anybody have a Facebook friend that does that too? BTW, I already posted this question but I had some more stuff to had. This friend of mine will also look through all my posts on my wall I mean from like 3 months before and comment on it. For example about 3 months ago a girl wrote on my wall that I know he was sort of fond and said “Hey Studd <3″. Three months later I get a notification from that friend and he writes “Haha, he’s not a stud. He doesn’t even play Sports.” So obviously he went through all my crap on Facebook and wrote a comment. It’s annoying as hell, this friend is a very good friend of mine though, so I can’t just delete him, we go to the same High School.

Well it appears, on news feed, what ever you like, so you should hide, that post from your friend, but blocking him from seeing the post, thus not deleting/blocking him.
Plus he probably stalks, you and looks up to you, dont worry, thats a good thing lol

Facebook is about “sharing” information, sharing “likes”, interests, whatever. If this bothers you, then 1. block him, 2. cancel your account, 3. limit who sees your wall, you’ll need to create groups to be able to limit your posts to that group.
What’s up John,
You know that Facebook has bought FriendFeed, so there’s a lot of new functionalities coming up with these joint venture, you should check some articles on that and try to find out some new way of disguising your likes, or maybe just some other new source that FriendFeed could help.
Take a look at that article:

Good luck on that!
